Hey Taz, thanks for stopping by! It was just a cute language slip up. He caught himself after he said it but couldn't remember the word "President." He was soooo excited to give us the news. It has created quite the buzz even over here in China.
Hi Maria. No problem. That's pretty neat that it mattered all the way over there. Were they supportive of anyone running or more curious?
I wish I knew! My Chinese vocabulary doesn't include politics (yet) so I dont know what the radio and the papers and the tvs are saying! Before the election I told my students America was going to have a new president soon and they all screamed Obama! When I mentioned that Obama was running against a man named McCain, they'd never heard of him.
LOL. That's awesome. They did say Obama was campaigning worldwide. How long have u been there?
