Hello out there! Life has been very full lately but I couldnt go another day without sharing some photos of my trip to China's Yunnan province last week. I visited Shilin rock forest outside of Kunming, Tiger Leaping Gorge, and Shangrila. It was my favorite place in China thus far. Enjoy the photos!
*update* I can't seem to get the photos any bigger than this, so if you'd like to see the album click here!

Hey, I stumbled across your blog and noticed you are a volunteer teacher in China. I am a volunteer teacher in China as well, but in Guizhou Province. :)
Your pictures of Yunnan look awesome... I am planning to go there sometime soon since it's fairly close by and I've heard such great things about it, particularly Tiger Leaping Gorge. :)
I love the Chinglish shirts by the way- my students say "no pains, no gains" all the time... I think if they actually said paint, it would be even greater! :)
Great photos.
There's more info about Yunnan - and also about volunteer teaching - at www.travelpod.com/travel-blog/happysheep/shangri-la-la/tpod.html
We went to a botanical garden in Texas just last month called Shangri'La. The guy who started it up said he got his vision from China!
